Digital Gaming in Classrooms Seen Gaining Popularity
I thought I would share this information with all of you. The data seems to be on our side. Digital gaming is in our classrooms to stay. Let me know what you think of the comments after the story. Not easy to convince those who are not educators but it never is!
There are many highly education digital gaming opportunities to help the struggling learner or help to motivate other learners as well. If the tool works- use it! The comment from the "citizens" struck me. I can see that there are definately some teachers (and parents, too!) that use "games" to entertain children and make their life easier. BUT there are also those of us that use them strictly as a learning tool! The next question one must reflect on- which category do you fall into???
